Zepp Health releases new notification feature in Amazfit smartwatch update

The Amazfit Balance smartwatch is receiving new software. On Discord, Zepp Health announced OTA 7.3 Hotfix, or software version 3.23.3.3. On Reddit, u/nurkamol has reported another similar update, version 3.23.4.1.

The latest software for the Amazfit Balance is a relatively minor update with two changes for the smartwatches. The first is the addition of notification reminder animations. However, a couple of users have already complained about this feature on Reddit because only the notification title is viewable until the animation ends. It is unclear whether this is a setting that can be switched off. The second enhancement is for notification styles and user interactions. Users have also reported on Discord that this resolves a bug with notifications from apps like Telegram, where the end of the message was displayed by default rather than the start.

It is unclear whether Zepp Health OTA 7.3 Hotfix for the Amazfit Balance smartwatch is rolling out in phases or if it is already available for all users. You can check for the update by going to Profile > My Devices > Amazfit Balance > System Update.
