Coros Pace Pro smartwatch now available with long battery life and ultra-bright AMOLED display
Coros has now released the Pace Pro, a new smartwatch that it positions above the Pace 3 (curr. $229 on Amazon) in its product stack. As such, the Pace Pro contains various hardware upgrades over last year's model, which Coros continues to sell on its website. However, these upgrades and its position within Coros' smartwatch line-up also see the Pace Pro commanding a higher price than the Pace 3.
On the one hand, Coros has replaced the 1.2-inch Memory in Pixel (MiP) display used in the Pace 3 for a brighter and more contrast-rich AMOLED panel that outputs at 1,500 nits while spanning 1.3-inches across. Additionally, the Pace Pro is said to offer a 2x performance boost over the Pace 3 thanks to a new chipset and more RAM. Moreover, Coros' new smartwatch has 32 GB of storage for storing new offline maps and music.

The Pace Pro boasts up to 20 days of battery life too, although these official estimates drop to 6 days with its always-on-display activated and 31 hours with the smartwatch's GPS module continuously active. On top of that, Coros has included ECG and skin temperature monitoring capabilities, as well as the usual array of health metrics found on other smartwatches like heart rate and sleep tracking. Incidentally, the Pace Pro can also monitor heart rates underwater, albeit with only 5 ATM water resistance.
On the other hand, the Pace Pro is between $100-$120 more expensive than the Pace 3 at $349 for its Blue, Black and Grey colour options. Also, it is worth keeping in mind that the Pace Pro is available in solely a 46 mm case size, unlike the Pace 3. Please see Coros' website for more details and comparisons against its existing smartwatches.
