Amazfit releases update with new features for T-Rex 3 smartwatch
Zepp Health has released an update for the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch, according to a user report on Reddit. This wearable was launched in September with various upgrades from its predecessor, such as a larger display and improved battery life. Now, software version 3.2.6.4, 14.19 MB in size, brings a range of enhancements to this newer wearable.
The release notes state that there is a new Unlock Upon Wrist Raise setting, providing a quick way for users to wake the display while working out. For users of the Track run activity, the pre-workout screen can now show your chosen lane with the ability to edit it as needed. Optimizations for the T-Rex 3 include a new tool for Hyrox races, allowing users to undo the transition between exercises for up to 10 seconds after it is triggered. Plus, the screen now only automatically locks once it is turned off. This will prevent the display auto-locking while the screen is still on but not in use, like during a workout.
Users of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch (curr. $279.99 at Amazon) will be able to download update version 3.2.6.4 from the Zepp App by going to Profile > Amazfit T-Rex 3 > System Update. It is unclear whether the latest software is already available for all users or if it is rolling out in phases over the next few weeks.
