Predator Helios Neo 14 is a small laptop with good battery life
While our Predator Helios Neo 14 review unit had a few major flaws like hot operation and a slow SD card reader, the laptop was a good package overall. This is especially true for gaming/day-to-day performance, port selection, and battery life.
Starting with the performance, the 120 W RTX 4060 and the Core Ultra 7 155H present inside the unit on sale are a potent combination for both gaming and productivity workloads. As such, the laptop will play most AAA games at or above 60 FPS at FHD while eSports titles will max out the 120 Hz refresh rate of the display.
Another advantage of an RTX 4060 and the Core Ultra 7 155H is that both these components are less power-hungry than the CPU and GPU in our review device. Therefore, we expect the thermal performance, which was somewhat of an issue in our testing, to be better. Similarly, the battery life should also see a bump as the panel also has a lower refresh rate and resolution.
