Govee's new Cone Tree Lights launch with Matter support
Govee has launched the Cone Tree Lights in countries globally. The smart lights are designed to mimic a 6 ft (~1.8 m) tall Christmas tree and can be used indoors or outdoors. According to the company, the product is IP65-rated for dust and water resistance and will operate in temperatures as low as -20°C (~-4°F).
The Cone Tree Lights include RGBIC 316 lamp beads across multiple strings set around a central pole, with a light-up star on top. There are 66 pre-set scene modes to choose from, including a range of Christmas themes. Alternatively, you can create your own lighting modes or draw patterns with the Finger sketch tool. DreamView allows you to sync the tree with other Govee products for a cohesive lighting experience. Plus, you can remotely control the lights with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice commands, and Matter compatibility means it integrates with a range of smart home ecosystems.
Govee suggests that the tree is relatively easy to install, and it comes with stakes and a water bag to prevent it from moving. The Govee Cone Tree Lights are now available worldwide with a discount for $134.99/£119.99/€119.99, though this does not appear to be available at Amazon. The product's recommended retail price is $149.99/£149.99/€149.99; it is unclear how long these deals will last.
