Xiaomi's new smart Super Clean Washing and Drying Set arrives

The Xiaomi Mijia Super Clean Washing and Drying Set (10kg+10kg) is now available to pre-order in China. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be wirelessly connected to ensure that the washing and drying settings are matched. In other words, the washing machine will tell the dryer what settings to use, so you do not need to set these manually.

The washing machine is powered by a direct drive motor and offers various smart features. These include an AI washing cycle, which is said to boost efficiency by 15%. The heat pump tumble dryer offers a low-temperature mode and will automatically end the cycle when it detects that the clothes are dry. You can control the machines via a built-in touch control panel. Plus, with HyperOS Connect, you can also remotely control the washer and dryer in the Mijia app or with Xiao AI voice commands.

In China, you can pre-order the Xiaomi Mijia Super Clean Washing and Drying Set (10kg+10kg) for the discounted price of CNY 4,499 (~$620); the product has a CNY 5,598 (~$771) RRP. This offer is expected to run until December 14th, and customers must pay a CNY 100 (~$14) deposit. It is unlikely that this washing machine and tumble dryer will reach other markets like Europe, where Xiaomi sells smart home products like the Robot Vacuum X20+ (currently €399.90 at Amazon Germany).
