The Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 is expected to launch in various countries globally in the near future. This is a compact 1080p model with Google TV and various automatic picture-perfecting tools. Other features include support for voice commands and built-in speakers compatible with Dolby Audio.

Xiaomi has listed the Smart Projector L1 on its global website. The information on the product page suggests that it could be an entry-level model, with a 1080p native resolution and a maximum image size of 120 inches (~3-5 cm). However, it is worth noting that the recommended image size is 60 to 100 inches (152 to 254 cm).

The Smart Projector L1 has a 1.2:1 throw ratio, supports 4K content and uses a fully sealed optical engine for up to 200 ISO lumens brightness. You can perfect the image with tools like automatic keystone correction, autofocus and automatic obstacle avoidance. Plus, this is a Google TV projector with apps like Netflix, YouTube and Disney+. You can search for content using Google Assistant voice commands or stream from your smartphone via Chromecast. On top of this, the L1 has two built-in 3W speakers, supporting Dolby Audio. It is a relatively compact model, measuring 118 x 142 x 176 mm (~4.6 x 5.6 x 6.9 inches) and weighing 1.2 kg (~2.6 lbs).

The release date and pricing of the Xiaomi Smart Projector L1 have yet to be announced. However, the appearance of the page indicates that the product could launch in many countries worldwide in the near future. In the meantime, you could consider the Anker Nebula Capsule 3, a 1080p Google TV Projector with 200 ANSI lumens brightness; it typically retails for $499.99 but is currently reduced to $379.99 at Amazon.
