Amazon launches new budget 4K Fire Smart TVs and discounts older models
If the Fire TV Omni mini-LED TV series are priced out of your budget, Amazon has new 4K smart TVs that cost less. It has also discounted its 2023 smart TVs if you are on an even tighter budget.
The new Amazon smart TVs which are a refresh of the Fire TV 4-series now have an ultra slim bezel. While they lack the hands-free voice control feature on the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED TVs, they ship with an Alexa Voice Remote Enhanced that you can use to find your favorite shows and movies.
The new Fire TV 4-series smart TVs have a 4K UHD resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, support for HDR10 and HLG, and Dolby Audio (Dolby Digital Plus). For ports and connectivity, there are three HDMI 2.0 ports, a single HDMI eARC 2.1 port, an optical audio port, an ethernet port, and a USB port along with support for WI-Fi 5.
Owners of the Fire TV 4-series TVs will be able to control compatible smart home devices such as cameras, locks, lights, and thermostats from the TV. The TV also has support for a live view picture-in-picture mode of your camera feed so you can keep an eye on your baby monitor while watching your TV show.
The new Fire TV 4-series is available to buy now on Amazon in 43'', 50'', and 55'' sizes with a price tag of $329.99, $399.99, and $459.99 respectively. Buyers also get 6% off if they purchase any of the sizes along with a Fire TV Soundbar.
If you want even cheaper options, the Fire TV 2-series released in 2023 are on sale. Available in 32'' and 40'' sizes, the Fire TV 2-series has HDR10 and HLG support and a 60Hz refresh rate. The TVs have two HDMI 1.4 ports, a single HDMI ARC port, an ethernet port, a USB 2.0 port, and Wi-Fi 5. They also ship with a Fire TV Alexa Voice Remote.
For a limited time, Amazon is selling the 32'' HD model for $99 which is 29% off its list price of $139.99 while the 40'' FHD model is down to $149.99, a whopping 40% off its list price of $249.99.
