The Xiaomi Robot Vacum X20 Max is now available in Europe. The model is the most powerful in the X20 range and offers a newer hair-cutting tool to prevent tangles. Another feature is automatic hot water mop washing and drying when the robot docks to ensure it is kept clean.

Xiaomi has launched a new robot vacuum in Europe: the Robot Vacuum X20 Max. The model first arrived on the brand’s global website in September and has been released alongside the mid-range Robot Vacuum X20 Pro.

The X20 Max sits at the top of the X20 range, with 8,000Pa suction power; that’s 1,000Pa more than the X20 Pro. The roller brush has been upgraded with hair-cutting technology to reduce tangles, with the same side brush. The Max also has advanced mopping, with two extendable mop arms reaching 2mm (~0.08 inches) away from the skirting board. Like the Pro, this model has a self-cleaning docking station that can automatically empty the robot’s dustbin and dirty water tanks, and add more clean water. On top of this, it can wash the mop with 55°C (~131°F) hot water and dry it with hot air for improved hygiene.

The robot can run for up to 120 minutes in standard mode, with app-based controls. Plus, you can trigger the vacuum using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. You can now buy the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20 Max in countries like the UK, Spain and Germany for £499.99/€649.99. For comparison, the less powerful X20 Pro retails for £399.99/€499.99.
