Xiaomi 14 starts receiving HyperOS 2.0 globally with Android 15

Almost two weeks have passed since Xiaomi revealed which devices would soon receive Android 15 by way of a HyperOS 2.0 update. In summary, the company promised to have started rolling out HyperOS 2.0 updates to over 50 devices before the end of the year. Of those, more than a dozen should see Xiaomi's latest OS this month.

Unfortunately, Xiaomi elected against sharing specifics in this regard. Nonetheless, the likes of GSMArena have now noticed that HyperOS 2.0 has reached the Xiaomi 14 (curr. $759.99 on Amazon) on Xiaomi's global software development branch. For reference, the update carries the build number HyperOS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM.

Incidentally, Xiaomi pushed Android 15 to the Xiaomi 14 at the start of the month, albeit as HyperOS 1.1. Thus, HyperOS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM will not change the underlying Android version for those already running recent HyperOS 1.1 builds. Presumably, other devices like the Poco F6 Pro should start receiving equivalent HyperOS 2.0 builds in the next few days.
