New leak reveals new details about ultra-premium Samsung smartphones
Samsung has introduced more foldables in 2024 than in prior years. Specifically, the company brought out the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,299.99 - renewed on Amazon) this summer. Following that, it unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, albeit in South Korea.
However, one can still import the company's thinnest foldable to date globally. Moreover, Samsung recently presented the W25 and W25 Flip in China with arguably more premium designs than its South Korean and global counterparts.
On top of that, rumours emerged at the end of last month that the company was now developing the Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra as the B7, Q7 and Q7M, respectively. Presumably, these will be joined by W26 and W26 Flip releases in China at some stage, too.
Supposedly, these next-generation foldables will be joined by a Galaxy Z Flip FE as well. According to a renowned Naver blogger, Samsung intends to manufacture plenty of Galaxy Z Flip FE units, albeit it is unsure when at this stage.
Ultimately, we have been here before with Galaxy Z Flip FE-related rumours, which did not come to pass. Thus, we would recommend employing a healthy amount of scepticism at this stage until more concrete information surfaces.
Nonetheless, all reports suggest that the Galaxy S25 series will kick off 2025 with a January release, which the same Naver blogger believes will be followed by the Galaxy S25 Slim in April. Seemingly, the Galaxy S25 Slim will be Samsung's alternative to the iPhone 17 Slim, although the latter is anticipated to be available in higher quantities than the former at this stage.
