W25: Samsung's new luxury foldable already available globally via import
It now seems that Samsung has started developing its next generation of Galaxy Z foldables, which will likely sell worldwide. As it stands, it currently offers the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,299.99 on Amazon) for its global fans.
However, the company is already giving the Chinese and South Korean markets a taste of what may be on the horizon next year with the W25 and Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, respectively. As we have discussed previously, it has been possible to import the latter since the end of last month for almost $3,500.
Now though, the same YouTuber and foldable phone seller is offering the almost identical Samsung W25 at a substantially cheaper price. Specifically, the Chinese version of the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition can be purchased in two trims, both with 16 GB of RAM.

Details here
As it stands, the W25 costs $3,046 with 512 GB of storage or $3,311 for its 1 TB variant. Please note that while taxes are included in these prices, shipping is not. Also, it seems that the W25 is slightly heavier at 255 g, compared to a 236 g quote weight for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, despite featuring otherwise identical hardware.
It is also worth stressing that the W25 will not be compatible with some apps widely used outside China, including Android Auto, out of the box, unlike the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. Although it may be possible to flash a global version of One UI, we cannot guarantee this at this stage. For reference, Samsung W25 orders placed through Average Dad Tech should start shipping globally on November 18.
