Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition: Samsung's ultra-premium foldable is available globally via import
Samsung has launched a slew of new foldables lately, having presented the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,299.99 - renewed on Amazon) over the summer. For context, the W25 and W25 Flip debuted earlier this week, albeit only in China where they will likely remain. Additionally, it introduced the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition a week earlier with various hardware changes from the existing Galaxy Z Fold6.
Unfortunately, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is expected to remain a South Korean exclusive. There is a solution for those interested in purchasing Samsung's first sub-11 mm foldable with a 200 MP camera, though. Specifically, the UK-based Average Dad Tech, which also operates the Average Dad YouTube channel, is offering the device globally just like other rare foldables before it.
For reference, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition retails for KRW 2,789,600 in South Korea, which currently converts to approximately $2,015. By contrast, Average Dad Tech is selling the same device for $3,447 or $3,274.65 when using the discount code OCTOBER5OFF at the point of purchase. Please note that the listed price does not include shipping costs, although the price shown does cover taxes. As it stands, all orders placed before November 5 should start shipping on November 8 worldwide. As for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition itself, please see our launch article for more hardware details.
