Samsung model numbers revealed for Galaxy Z Flip7, Galaxy Z Fold7 and even possible Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra
Samsung has only just released the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. However, various sources have turned their attention towards Samsung's seventh-generation foldables. For reference, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is exclusive to South Korea so far.
With that being said, it seems that Samsung intends to offer the same device in China as the W25. By contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,299.99 - renewed on Amazon) is available in multiple markets. According to GalaxyClub and Roland Quandt, Samsung has already settled on the model numbers for three forthcoming Galaxy Z devices. Specifically, both allege that Samsung is preparing its seventh-generation foldables under the model numbers B7, Q7 and Q7M.
Going off previous generations, B7 should relate to the Galaxy Z Flip7. On the other hand, Q7 would appear to be the Galaxy Z Fold7. Likewise, Q7M is presumed to be a second Galaxy Z Fold7 variant, just as the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is to the Galaxy Z Fold6 with their Q6A and Q6 model numbers, respectively.
Given that the former is a more expensive version of the latter, Q7M could well be a direct successor to Q6A. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Samsung's other book-style foldable will receive a wider release as a 'Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra' or another limited-run Galaxy Z Fold7 Special Edition instead.
