The OnePlus 13 costs a bit more than its predecessor. While the price increase can be justified by the significant upgrades it brings, replacing certain parts is not going to be cheap.

A few days ago, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 13 in China as its latest flagship smartphone. The OnePlus 13 comes with a number of key upgrades over the OnePlus 12 (curr. available on Amazon for $649.99). Unfortunately, it also costs more, starting at ¥4,499 (~$632/€580) compared to the OnePlus 12's ¥4,299 (~$604/€555) launch price. Now, OnePlus has released a price list of replacement parts and accessories.

The OnePlus 13 packs some pretty impressive features such as a BOE X2 LTPO OLED display with a QHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It also has a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. All of these reflect in the cost of its parts.

According to a report by ITHome, Oppo has publicized the price list of the OnePlus 13's replacement parts. The list reveals a replacement screen for the OnePlus 13 costs ¥1650 (~$232/€213). It also includes the cost of a new motherboard, which is the most expensive part. This shouldn't be surprising considering it houses key components such as the processor, RAM, and storage.

The price starts at ¥2350 (~$330/€303) for the motherboard with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage while the 12GB RAM + 512GB version is ¥2650 (~$372/€342). The price goes up to ¥2850 (~$400/€368) for the 16GB + 512GB version and maxes out at ¥3,550 (~$498/€458) for the motherboard with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The back panel costs ¥390 (~$55) while a replacement battery costs ¥199 (~$28/€26). If you want to replace the 32MP front camera, that will set you back ¥160 (~$22/€21) while the 50MP primary rear camera costs ¥400 (~$56/€52). The telephoto camera is priced at ¥290 (~$41/€37) while the ultrawide angle camera is the cheapest sensor at ¥150 (~$21/€19). You can also purchase a replacement power brick for ¥219 (~$31) while the charging cable has a ¥49 (~$7/€6)  price tag.

Considering the price of parts such as the display, it is advised to invest in a sturdy case and a screen protector.
