New Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G global leak paints conflicting picture for upcoming Redmi Note 14 series
Xiaomi is rumoured to be less than a month away from officially introducing the Redmi Note 14 series. For now, the company is expected to release direct replacements for the Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus (curr. $339.50 on Amazon). However, this is likely only true in China, where it tends to launch new Redmi smartphones first.
As it stands, global variants were not anticipated to arrive until early 2025; the same smartphones may reach India this winter, though. Regardless, the global version of the Redmi Note 14 5G has already surfaced online. As always, the device has first appeared on an IMEI database. Consequently, the leak provides very little actual information about the device.
Instead, it merely links the model number '24094RAD4G' to the retail name 'Redmi Note 14 5G'. Nonetheless, this leak contradicts previous Redmi Note 14 series-related leaks in which the '24094RAD4' was presumed to be the Redmi Note 14 Pro and not its entry-level counterpart. Unfortunately, other specifics about the Redmi Note 14 5G remain unknown for now, although there have been rumblings that the device will combine hardware like a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset with 45 W wired charging.
