Xiaomi 15 Ultra receives 3C certification, suggesting imminent launch

The Xiaomi 15 series currently consists of two models: the vanilla Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Pro. Similar to the previous 14 series, the Xiaomi 15 series is also expected to have an Ultra model. The company has not yet officially revealed the details of the smartphone. However, the launch of the phone does not seem far away since it has received the 3C certification in China.

The 3C certification site reveals two Xiaomi 15 Ultra variants. The model numbers for the variants are 25010PN30C and 25019PNF3C. Both of the variants are listed to support satellite connectivity. Apart from that information, the certification also reveals the charger for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra which supports up to 90W charging.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra received the 3C certification in February and was launched in the same month. Hence, it will not be a surprise if Xiaomi launches the 15 Ultra by early January in China. Globally, the smartphone is expected to debut at the MWC 2025 event. 

Previous reports have suggested that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a 2K quad-curved display. It is expected to have an upgraded camera setup featuring a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The battery capacity of the phone is expected to be similar to its predecessor.
