Xiaomi 15 Ultra launch month officially confirmed

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be the third model in the Xiaomi 15 series which currently consists of the standard Xiaomi 15 and the 15 Pro.  Previously, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra received 3C certification in China. Now we have official information regarding the launch time frame of the Ultra model.

The release details of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra come from Lao Wei, the general manager of Xiaomi's mobile phone marketing department. She posted a video on Douyin, a Chinese version of TikTok. In the video, she showed how Xiaomi smartphones can seamlessly connect to Apple devices. However, in the comments section, someone asked about the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. The commentator asked if the rumors of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra being delayed were true or not. To this, Lao Wei confirmed that there is no delay and that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be released in February.

Specifications and features of the 15 Ultra model are not disclosed officially. Rumors suggest it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

It may come with a 6.73-inch panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. In the camera department, it may feature a 1-inch primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. The battery capacity is expected to be between 5,450 mAh and 5,800 mAh. The 3C certification confirmed that the charger of the 15 Ultra supports up to 90W fast charging.
