OnePlus Watch 3 revealed with larger battery and thinner body
OnePlus has not publicly acknowledged any plans to replace the Watch 2 (curr. $249.95 on Amazon) yet. However, an expected successor has now appeared at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US, shortly after Yogesh Brar mentioned the wearable in the same breath as the global releases of the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R.
As always, the FCC does not refer to the smartwatch by its retail name. Instead, all documentation mentions its OPWWE251 model number, evidence of which we have embedded below. Ultimately, this model number reveals little by itself. With that being said, one can infer from OnePlus Watch 2's model number of OPWWE231 that OPWWE251 is a successor of some kind, like the OnePlus Watch 3.

To that end, OPWWE251 has a circular casing that measures 47.6 x 46.6 x 11.75 mm. In other words, it has roughly the same size as the OnePlus Watch 2, albeit while being 0.35 mm thinner. Nonetheless, it appears that OnePlus has equipped its next smartwatch with a substantially larger battery.
Specifically, the FCC describes the presence of a battery with a 648 mAh typical capacity, which would represent a 29.6% increase over the OnePlus Watch 2. Moreover, the US regulatory body confirms the inclusion of Bluetooth, GNSS, NFC and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11 n) connectivity; other details remain unknown for now, though. Currently, OnePlus is assumed to be releasing the OnePlus 13 in early January 2025, which may well be when it introduces the OnePlus Watch 3 too.
