In recent weeks, it has been difficult to keep up with the volume of bug fixes, new features and improvements that Garmin has offered to the Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 (curr. $1,099.99 on Amazon). For context, the company issued System Software 12.22 at the end of last month with roughly 130 changes.
However, it tested even more on its Beta Program that did not make the cut for Garmin's stable software distribution channel. By contrast, updates that the company has introduced this month have contained far fewer improvements.
For example, Beta Version 12.32 arrived almost a week ago with a three-line changelog. Now, Beta Version 12.34 has landed with even fewer changes. Nonetheless, the update should resolve an issue with Garmin's Connect IQ service that could cause it to crash at random.
Currently, Garmin has not confirmed when this bug fix will reach Enduro 3, Fenix E and Fenix 8 smartwatches that run stable software. All signs point towards at least one more beta build being arriving before Garmin releases a new stable update, though. To that end, Beta Version 12.34 ships with ECG and Dive features disabled. Please see Garmin's forum post for more information.
