Garmin has released beta version 27.73 for the Fenix 6, Enduro and Marq smartwatches. Users of these wearables have been waiting over six months for an update to follow the stable update version 27.00, which launched in May.
The release notes for beta version 27.73 list four changes. There is one addition, though it is only a legal disclaimer message for the storm alert tool. Garmin has tackled a problem where notifications were slow to appear and an issue where the elevation alert would constantly go off. On top of this, the company has addressed a UI-related bug on the flight paths set-up feature, though this only affects the Marq Aviator smartwatch.
In a post on the Garmin forum, a team member notes that users need to manually load the software, by going to Main Menu > System > Software Update > Check For Updates. It appears that beta version 27.73 is already available for all testers. However, it remains to be seen when these changes could roll out in a stable update to all users of the wearables, like the Garmin Fenix 6 Pro smartwatch (Renewed, currently $369.99 at Amazon).
