Zepp Health appears to be rolling out new software for the T-Rex 3 smartwatch. The model launched in September at IFA Berlin, and is already proving popular. Version 3.3.7.1 has been reported by users of the wearable on Reddit.
The update arrives shortly after the version 3.3.6.1 release at the end of November, which brought new features like tap to wake and a Ski mountaineering activity. Version 3.3.7.1 is a relatively minor update. According to the change log, Zepp Health has enhanced track navigation stability during workouts. Plus, there is an improvement in the accuracy of the time display when your T-Rex 3’s dial is in always-on-display (AOD) mode. This system update is 10.91MB in size.
Smartwatch users will be able to download version 3.3.7.1 via the Zepp app by going to Profile > Amazfit T-Rex 3 > System Update. It is unclear whether this update is rolling out in phases or whether it is already available to all users of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 (currently $234.99 at Amazon). Zepp Health also recently updated its iOS app to version 9.2.0 and teased upcoming features.
