Reports suggest that Zepp Health is rolling out a new update to the T-Rex 3 smartwatch. A screenshot of the software version 3.3.6.1 update was recently shared by u/DanilaoIT on Reddit. The release has yet to be officially announced by Zepp Health.
The version 3.3.6.1 change log notes that there is a new workout, Ski mountaineering, which was recently added to the Cheetah Pro. Zepp has also brought a frequently requested feature to the smartwatch: Tap-to-Wake. This allows you to tap the screen to view it at any time, rather than pressing a button or rotating your wrist. You can activate this setting from System Settings > Display > Tap to Wake > Single Tap/Double Tap. There are also improvements to the accuracy of the sleep tracking algorithm and optimizations for the Padel and Track Run activities.
This T-Rex 3 update appears to be 17.34B in size and could bring more features and improvements to the smartwatch in addition to those listed above. The release has been reported by a user in Italy; it is unclear in which countries the software is rolling out, or when version 3.3.61.1 will reach all users of the Amazfit T-Rex 3 smartwatch (currently $234.99 at Amazon).
