The Mobvoi TicWatch Atlas smartwatch is about to get a new update, version TMDB.240925.002. A change log and schedule for the release were recently posted by the brand on social media. The update will bring optimizations and bug fixes to the wearable during December.

Mobvoi has announced a new update for the TicWatch Atlas smartwatch. The wearable launched in October and is described as the brand's "most rugged smartwatch yet". It is very similar to the older TicWatch Pro 5 and TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro models, which are also about to receive an update.

Version TMDB.240925.002 is said to optimize how some elements of third-party watch faces are loaded when you exit Essential Mode. There are fixes for bugs like missing VO2 Max and Recovery Time data and unexpectedly silent sleep alarms. The release also brings the security patch to November 1st. On top of this, the change log notes that there are other bug fixes and optimizations without providing further details.

According to a post on social media, Mobvoi plans to release the update to 10% of users on December 12th, with all users receiving the update by December 19th. The same release schedule is planned for the TicWatch Pro 5 and TicWatch Pro 5 updates. You can currently buy the TicWatch Atlas smartwatch at Amazon for $349.99.
