Many Garmin smartwatch models are suffering from watch face related crashes, according to recent reports. Developers have been flagging the issues for months on the company’s dedicated forum, sharing details on the problems that their customers are facing.
The bug seems to occur during Storage.setValue() calls to save data, which occasionally causes some watch faces to freeze and display the Garmin Connect IQ logo. Apparently, restarting the wearable resolves the issue temporarily, but the watch face can stop working again at any time. You could also try using a different watch face.
