The OnePlus Pad 2 is the global version of the OnePlus Pad Pro sold in China. It is also the successor to the first OnePlus tablet, the OnePlus Pad (curr. $399 on Amazon) announced in February 2023. Now, details have leaked of a new OnePlus tablet for the Chinese market, and from its specs, it will be positioned under the OnePlus Pad Pro.
While its official name isn't known yet, it is being referred to as the OnePlus Pad which makes sense since it isn't as powerful as the pro model. However, it is also confusing since there is already a device with the same name.

The specs of the upcoming tablet were posted on Weibo by the popular leaker, Digital Chat Station, and they reveal the tablet will have an 11.6-inch display with a 2800 × 2000 resolution. It is an LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The source also mentions the OnePlus Pad will be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 processor, have an 8MP camera on both sides, and pack a 9,520mAh battery with support for 67W fast wired charging.
If the above specs look familiar, you are not wrong, as they are the same as those of the recently-launched Oppo Pad 3. This means it is likely to be a rebadge albeit with a few minor differences. There's also the possibility it might get a global release, likely as a successor to the OnePlus Pad Go or maybe even as the OnePlus Pad 2R, making it the first R-series tablet.
The upcoming OnePlus Pad might be unveiled alongside the OnePlus Ace 5 series which is expected to be announced this month. However, more details about the device should be revealed before then.
