Oppo recently unveiled the Pad 3 as an Android tablet with mid-range specs, thereby leaving its Pro sibling as its highest-end tablet to date. However, it might not be the flagship of its series after all.
The typically reliable leaker Digital Chat Station now asserts that Oppo will launch a Pad 3 Ultra next year. In keeping with its allegedly hyper-premium moniker, it is now tipped to debut as the brand's first tablet with 100W SuperVOOC charging.
The "Pad 3 Mini", on the other hand, might not get such an upgrade. It is, however, rumored to have a "high refresh rate" LCD display (which suggests that it, like the Pad 3, might be 144Hz).
The Mini might be a small-scale tablet, yet could also be driven by the same new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC as Oppo's new global flagship smartphone the Find X8 Pro.
The Oppo Pad 3 Ultra has yet to become linked with a processor, although it is said to be equipped with "flexible" OLED that, while not likely to make it foldable, might confer thinner bezels on its display.
