Following the launch of the Oppo Pad 3 Pro in China and globally, Oppo is preparing to announce the non-pro model which will launch as the Oppo Pad 3. Already confirmed to launch alongside the Oppo Reno 13 series on November 25, the tablet is now available to pre-order, and the listing reveals its spec sheet.
The Oppo Pad 3 has a similar design to the pro model with its flat display, rounded corners, and a centered circular camera island. However, unlike the Pad 3 Pro that is available in two colors, the Pad 3 will be available in Blue, Purple, and Silver when it launches.
The Oppo Pad 3 will have an 11.6-inch display with a 2.8K (2800 x 2000) resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 700 nits. The listing also states the screen has a 7:5 aspect ratio and a nano-textured finish for a paper-like writing experience. It goes without saying that the Oppo Pad 3 has stylus support.
The Pad 3 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version, but the non-pro model will have MediaTek's Dimensity 8350 processor (a variant of the Dimensity 8300) under its hood. There will be four configurations to choose from — 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB. The spec sheet reveals the 128GB variant uses UFS 3.1 storage while the 256GB and 512GB variants are UFS 4.0.
The Oppo Pad 3 will have an 8MP camera on both sides with support for 4K 30fps recording on the rear camera. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.4 and a USB 3.2 Type-C port. There's a 9,510mAh battery under the hood with support for 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging. There's no fingerprint scanner but it has face unlock.
Oppo will ship the Pad 3 with ColorOS 15.0 which will bring a handful of AI features. It will also sell an optional stylus and keyboard case. The latter which will have NFC but lack a trackpad like that of the Pad 3 Pro. With respect to the price of the tablet, we will have to wait until the launch. It is also not known if Oppo plans to release it outside China.
