Oppo has just released the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro globally. To coincide with their debut outside China, the company has also issued a roadmap for the rollout of ColorOS 15 globally. For context, Xiaomi recently issued an equivalent for HyperOS 2.0.
However, while HyperOS 2.0 is set to reach over fifty devices by next month, Oppo's release schedule is far less ambitious. For instance, it will only deliver ColorOS 15 to the Find N3, Find N3 Flip and Reno11 Pro 5G this month, before expanding eligibility to another eleven devices in December.
As the image below shows, ColorOS 15 should hit another fourteen models but with no specific date. Instead, Oppo has committed to updating the likes of the Find N2 Flip and Reno12 Pro (curr. $129.99 on Amazon) sometime between January and March 2025. As a result, Oppo will eventually update twenty-eight devices from ColorOS 14 to ColorOS 15. Please note that this does not include models that it only sells in China, such as the Find X7 Ultra.
