Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to launch early next year with striking new design
The launch of the Galaxy S25 series remains a while off yet. Based on recent rumours, Samsung intends to introduce the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra at a Galaxy Unpacked event towards the end of January. Presumably, the company also has a few other new devices in the works for that event too, such as new Galaxy Book laptops.
Based on recent years, we are still a month or so away before leakers get their hands on promotional materials of Samsung's next flagships. Instead, images of dummy units have started turning up online. Specifically, @Jukanlosreve and @OnLeaks have shared images of a Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy model, which we have embedded below.

For reference, Samsung is expected to offer the Galaxy S25 Ultra in numerous colour options rather than the two shown here. Nonetheless, the design matches other Galaxy S25 Ultra-related leaks. Thus, it seems that Samsung will adopt a more ergonomic form factor than the Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $949.99 on Amazon), which still harks back to the design of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
Ultimately though, the Galaxy S Ultra is anticipated to return with a familiar set of camera hardware and 45 W wired charging. All Galaxy S25 Ultra variants should ship with Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, too. Incidentally, this chipset is already available in devices like the Xiaomi 15 and OnePlus 13, as well as the new Asus ROG Phone 9.
