The vanilla Samsung Galaxy S25 appeared on Geekbench a few weeks ago with 12 GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in tow. This time out, the more expensive Galaxy S25+ has now made the same trip over to the popular benchmark, albeit with one key difference.
While the base Galaxy S25 put up quite unimpressive numbers, the S25+ excels on both single-core and multi-core tests, with scores of 3160 and 9941 on those two tests respectively. In comparison, the Galaxy S25 scored 2481 and 8658 respectively. The Galaxy S25+'s numbers, for some perspective, come daringly close to the results obtained on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite QRD units.
Like on the standard Galaxy S25, the Geekbench listing for the S25+ confirms the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, evidenced by the listed 4.47 GHz clock speed. The standard Snapdragon 8 Elite is limited to 4.32 GHz. 12 GB of RAM is present as well, though that goes without saying seeing as the S24+ already features 12 GB of memory as standard. The Galaxy S25 series is expected to debut on January 22 or 23, as we already reported.
