Samsung has now released One UI 6 Watch for its older smartwatches. For context, the company was forced to delay the rollout having presented this year's OS update over the summer with the Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra.
However, it is now available for all Galaxy Watch smartwatches that were released running One UI, including the Galaxy Watch4 (curr. $79 - renewed on Amazon). As always though, Samsung will not offer One UI 6 Watch all at once. Instead, it will deliver its new OS update in batches starting with the Galaxy Watch6 series.

In other words, it could take a while before Galaxy Watch4 series owners receive a notification to move on from One UI 5 Watch. For reference, the following models are now eligible for its successor:
- Galaxy Watch4
- Galaxy Watch4 Classic
- Galaxy Watch5
- Galaxy Watch5 Pro
- Galaxy Watch FE
- Galaxy Watch6
- Galaxy Watch6 Classic
To recap, One UI 6 Watch adds a few new features, including sleep apnea detection. Moreover, it introduces a fresh set of watch faces, a new pinch gesture and auto-generated message responses. Please note that the latter two are only compatible with Galaxy smartphones. Furthermore, Samsung has enhanced sleep tracking and workouts with various enhancements. Arguably, one of the biggest changes is Energy Score, which collates various health metrics to determine an energy level of 0-100.
