The Casio Edifice ECB2000HR-1A smartwatch has arrived in the US. The model was launched in other countries, including France and Australia, in October. This wearable has been designed in collaboration with the Honda Racing Corporation (HRC), taking inspiration from the suspension used in its race cars.
The Edifice ECB2000HR-1A has a red, blue and white color scheme across the carbon and stainless steel bezel and watch casing. The HRC branding is found near the top of the watch face and again on the Alcantara band. Features of the wearable include Bluetooth, allowing you to connect the smartphone to your phone, where you can access further tools in the Casio Watches app. Examples include a phone finder, stopwatch data transfers and automatic time adjustment. There are also a wide range of time zones, a 1/100th-second stopwatch and a countdown timer. The rechargeable battery can run for at least seven months, boosted by Tough Solar charging technology.
You can now buy the Casio Edifice ECB2000HR-1A smartwatch in the US for $400. This makes it more expensive than other similar models like the ECB2000PB-1A, which is currently available at Amazon for $300. The ECB-2000HR-1A retails in various EU countries for €399 and in Australia for A$849. Plus, it is listed with a £390 RRP in the UK where it is said to be “coming soon”.
