Casio has launched the Vintage A158WEGV-9A watch in the US, following its arrival in Europe last month. The model has a gold and green design with a stainless steel band. Features include a stopwatch, alarms and an LED backlight, and the wearable can run for up to seven years on a single battery.

The Casio Vintage A158WEGV-9A has arrived in the US. The model launched in European countries in October and is described as “timeless, yet contemporary”. This wearable’s resin case and bezel are gold with a few green accents on the watch face. The multi-row metal band is made from gold ion-plated stainless steel with a matte finish and adjustable clasp.

The A158WEGV-9A has a digital display with a green LED backlight to aid visibility in darker conditions. Features of the wearable include a 1/100th second stopwatch, a daily alarm, hourly time signals and 12- or 24-hour formats. The model has an automatic calendar, though February is set at 28 days, and is said to be accurate to within 30 seconds each month. On top of this, the A158 watch is said to run for up to seven years on a CR2016 battery.

You can now buy the Casio Vintage A158WEGV-9A in the US for $74.95. At this price, it’s more than triple the cost of the older A158WA-1, which typically retails for $22.95, but is currently available at Amazon for $19.99. In the EU, the A158WEGV-9A has an RRP of €69.90.
