Casio x Pac-man: 4 new retro-themed watches unveiled with step-tracking, Dual Time and more
To celebrate their 45th anniversary, Pac-Man has collaborated with Casio to unveil a new Pac-Man collaboration collection. The collection includes the A168WEPC-7A, F-91WPC-1A, CA-53WPC-1B, and ABL-100WEPC-1B, with retro designs inspired by the iconic game that had a whole generation in a chokehold since the 1980s. Each watch integrates Pac-Man themes and keeps the classic, practical Casio features for everyday use.
A168WEPC-7A
The A168WEPC-7A features a silver vapor-deposited dial designed to resemble the Pac-Man maze, with graphics of Pac-Man and the four ghosts—Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Neon accents highlight the design, and "WAKA WAKA" appears on the clasp and the illuminated LCD. Built with stainless steel, the watch includes an electroluminescent backlight, stopwatch, daily alarm, water resistance, and a 7-year battery life.
F-91WPC-1A
The F-91WPC-1A is compact and lightweight at 21 grams, featuring a resin case and strap. Its design includes neon graphics and Pac-Man characters on the dial and band. Functional features include a stopwatch, daily alarm, LED backlight, and an auto-calendar set until 2099. The watch runs on a 7-year battery, providing long-term convenience.
CA-53WPC-1B
The CA-53WPC-1B is a reinterpretation of Casio’s calculator watch, featuring a yellow bezel and bio-resin band styled after an arcade machine. The watch face mimics a Pac-Man game screen, while functional features include an 8-digit calculator, dual-time capability, stopwatch, and water resistance. Its lightweight build and straightforward design make it practical for daily wear.
ABL-100WEPC-1B
While the ABL-100WEPC-1B is not yet listed on Casio’s website, it is expected to share features with the ABL-100WE-1B from the same series. These include Bluetooth connectivity, step tracking with detailed step count data, dual-time functionality, and a 2-year battery life. The stainless steel band means durability and comfort, making it well-suited for active users who value both style and utility.
Each watch in the collection will come in a model-specific package with the Pac-Man theme. For example, the CA-53WPC-1B is packaged in an arcade-inspired box, while others feature neon-style designs matching their watch faces. Pricing for all these models is still unconfirmed - with an official release planned for December 2024.
