The buddix × Casio G-Shock DW-5600 watch has been launched in Japan. This is the first collaboration between the clothing brand and Casio. The limited edition wearable features a white background and the buddix logo in green and red across the band. The logo is also engraved on the back of the watch, and the model has bespoke packaging.
The features of the buddix × Casio G-Shock DW-5600 have not been officially confirmed. However, it is likely that they will match those of other DW-5600 watches, like a 1/100th second stopwatch, a countdown timer, multiple alarms and an hourly time signal. Typically, the wearable has a fully automatic calendar, the Super Illuminator LED backlight and up to five years of battery life.
Customers in Japan can now buy the buddix × Casio G-Shock DW-5600 watch at the Vertical Garage store in Nakameguro, Tokyo, or online. The wearable costs ¥17,600 (~$114), the same price as the recent Shiba Inu-inspired DW-5600, but more expensive than the Precious Heart version of the same model, which is priced at ¥15,400 (~$100). There has been no mention of an international rollout of this collaboration watch. Those in the US could consider purchasing the DW5600E-1V instead, currently available for $44.97 at Amazon.
