Casio has confirmed the price of the upcoming CRW001-1 digital ring watch in the US. Also known as the CRW-001 or the CRW-001-1ER, this tiny wearable is being released as part of Casio Watch’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
Only a few days ago, listings for the Casio Ring Watch appeared in the UK and Singapore. Now, a product page on the brand’s US website confirms that the wearable will also launch here in December, with a $120 RRP. This was around the price expected, based on the ¥19,800 (~$128) retail price in Japan and £105 (~$132) cost in the UK.
The features of the CRW001-1 have already been revealed. The full-metal ring has a stainless steel casing and bezel, similar in appearance to the GMW-B5000D-1 watch (curr. $432.99 at Amazon). The ring typically fits a size 22 finger (US 10.5, EU U), though the size can be adjusted using two spacers to size 18 or 19. The LCD can display dual time zones and has an LED backlight. Plus, the wearable offers a 1/100th second stopwatch, an automatic calendar and hourly time flash signals. It is anticipated that the Casio CRW001-1 digital ring watch will be available to purchase in the US on December 1st, though this has yet to be officially confirmed.
