Tesla is padding the shipment numbers for the last quarter of the year yet again by doubling the referral bonus for link providers and some recipients, who can now shave extra off the price of a Model S,X, or the Cybertruck.

Besides the 0% Model Y APR financing rate, the free FSD transfer, or the free Supercharging trial, Tesla is introducing an indirect price cut in the form of doubling the bonuses in its Refer and Earn program.

Those who purchase a Cybertruck, Model X, or Model S with a referral link, will now see their prices cut automatically by $2,000 in store credits that can also be used towards services or accessories. This is on top of the government's $7,500 tax credit and all other current incentives they qualify for.

For the people who provide the referral link, the bonus also doubles to $1,000, and if they max out their allotted referrals, they will earn $10,000 in credits that can be used towards the purchase of a future Tesla like the upcoming Model Y Juniper, or apply towards an FSD purchase and accessories.

Tesla has reached peak deals level in Q4, as it has kept all the old promos like free FSD transfer it's been running for a full year now, and introduced some inventive new ones like free Supercharging and FSD trials to pad the year-end shipment numbers.

This may result in record volume of Tesla sales in the US for Q4, ahead of next quarter's Model Y Juniper announcement that could spearhead sales even further. Granted, it is hard to predict what effect would the rumored ending of the federal tax credit program have on Tesla's revenue numbers.

Tesla currently owes over 40% of its profits to the green regulatory credits it sells to other automakers anyway, so it might not be as affected as it will try to keep the Model Y Juniper price still a bargain with manufacturing cost cuts that other EV makers usually find hard to replicate.
