Model Y inventory discounts bring its price down to under $35,000 with tax credit
Tesla seems determined to make the holiday quarter its best ever for the year, as it keeps adding vehicle promotions and discounts in the US from the very start.
After extending the zero down payment financing deal for the Model Y and Model 3, it is now offering up to $2,700 inventory discounts for brand-new cars on its lots, not just for demo vehicles with a few thousand miles on the odometer as is typical.
The Model Y, for instance, starts from $34,790 for a Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive 2024 unit with the federal tax credit applied.
The inventory Tesla Model 3 vehicles start from $32,870 after said tax credit, again for the base Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive version in basic Stealth Grey color with black interior.
At $3,999 down, the monthly payment for the cheapest Model Y in the inventory discount list would now be $646, though, since Tesla didn't extend the 1.99% APR financing offer it had last month.
The Model Y and Model 3 financing is now charged with a 5.29% interest rate for the 72-month period, while the 84-month financing goes up to the whopping 6.29% APR.
Still, for those customers who are in the market for Tesla's bestselling vehicles with cash, a Model Y can now be had for less than $35,000, provided that they don't mind the free Stealth Grey color and basic black interior.
