Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version dominates AnTuTu's top-performing flagship phone ranking for July 2024

AnTuTu has published its latest top-performing flagship phone ranking. On last month's list, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 regained its top position, beating the newly released Dimensity 9300+ and the Dimensity 9300. The Leading Version of Qualcomm's top-end smartphone, SoC, made a noticeable leap in the latest Android smartphone ranking shared by the benchmark platform.

At the core, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version is basically an overclocked variant of the standard SoC. It has the Cortex X4 core clocked at 3.4 GHz and the Adreno 750 GPU at 1 GHz. In comparison, the standard chipset's Cortex X4 core is clocked at 3.3 GHz, while the GPU is set at 900 MHz.

This Leading Version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 debuted with the RedMagic 9S Pro lineup (12/256 GB 9S Pro curr. $749 on Amazon). The slightly overclocked frequencies, combined with the cooling setup, have made the RedMagic 9S Pro+ secure the first position with an average score of 21,82,401 points on AnTuTu's latest top-performing flagship list of July 2024.

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro has the second spot with an average of 21,03,450, and it packs the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. MediaTek's Dimensity 9300+ put a good fight on AnTuTu's flagship ranking of July 2024. The Redmi K70 Extreme Edition powered by the MediaTek flagship SoC secured the third spot, scoring 20,98,023.

Asus's ROG Phone 8 Pro (available on Amazon), which topped many AnTuTu flagship smartphone rankings before, has the fourth spot in the latest list. You can check out the scores of the other Android phones in the top 10 ranking from the picture attached at the end.

Worth noting that AnTuTu curates this list by taking the average score of phones throughout the month. The devices need to pass at least 1,000 valid benchmark runs to make an entry. Also, given that many factors impact the benchmark scores, the positions and the average scores don't tend to be the same every month.
