Oppo's next pair of audio peripherals is thought to launch as a successor to the Free3 buds, although they could also be called the Lite version of the top-end Enco X3s, according to the eminent leaker Digital Chat Station.
They are now said to bear the OEM's premium co-branding despite belonging to its sub-flagship series. It might manifest in the form of a custom "Co-Created with Dynaudio" pre-set for the buds' EQ rather than a logo for its plastic charging case, though.
The "Free4" buds are also thought to debut with a new AI Translation feature and active noise cancellation (ANC) that might be nearly as good as that of the flagship X3s.
Their sound quality might not be quite as good, in keeping with the ~500 yuan (~$69) price-point of their predecessors - yet still beat some other buds that currently go for about twice that price (like the OnePlus Buds 3 currently available on Amazon).
The Oppo Free4 Dynaudio Edition might debut alongside the Find X8 Ultra and X8S series on April 10, 2025.
