OPPO has launched its latest pair of TWS earbuds alongside its new Reno6 smartphones. The Free2 accessories have many of the advantages of their flagship Enco X counterparts, Bluetooth 5.2, ANC and Dynaudio tuning included, albeit at a lower starting price.
Then again, the Enco Free2s have 10mm drivers, whereas those of the X buds are 11mm. The two types do look similar, however, being AirPod clones with ear-tips. The newer models are rated for a sensitivity of 103±3 decibels (dB), have a frequency range of 20-20,000 hertz (Hz).
OPPO also claims a latency of as little as 47 milliseconds (ms) in the Enco Free2 earbuds, under certain circumstances. The OEM has unveiled these new TWS devices at a starting price of 599 yuan (~US$94), as opposed to the Enco X' 999 yuan (~$157) cost. However, the OEM has yet to mention international availability or pricing for the new peripherals.
