The market for TWS earbuds is well and truly saturated these days, but this hasn’t stopped companies from trying to find a different angle or target a different segment of the market. Razer, is of course best known as a gaming company, so it makes perfect sense for it to launch earbuds specifically targeted at mobile gamers. Its new Hammerhead TWS X earbuds feature a backlit green triple-headed snake logo that can be switched off and is packed with all the latest in connectivity.
The headlining feature of the Razer Hammerhead TWS X is its latency of just 60ms when gaming mode is activated. Not only does that make it very responsive for gaming, it will also ensure that any sync issues when watching video is also a thing of the past. Google Fast Pair support means they will conveniently pair during the initial set up with a single tap of a pop-up notification. They also feature Bluetooth 5.2 auto-pairing which means that they will automatically pair with the last previously paired device.
Naturally, Razer has also done its best to ensure the Hammerhead TWS X sounds good too. They are fitted with large 13 mm drivers that support a frequency range between 20 Hz and 20 kHz that Razer promises will deliver clear highs and mids with punchy bass. As is typically the case, Razer has also developed an app to accompany its earbuds that offer additional controls including EQ adjustments. Battery life is also good for up to 28 hours with the included battery charging case.
The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless X earbuds are available now for £69.99.
