OPPO is slated to launch new TWS earbuds as well as phones on November 25, 2021
OPPO's launch event for the Reno7 series of mid-range mobile devices is now set for tomorrow (November 25, 2021). Now, the blog GizNext asserts that the OEM has a new member of its Enco line of TWS earbuds to introduce alongside them.
However, these new Free2i variants seem unlikely to offer high-end specs such as ANC; similarly, there is no mention of the Dynaudio co-branding seen in their putative Free2 siblings. Instead, OPPO might focus on core, yet up-to-date wireless audio features such as the 10-meter connectivity radius of Bluetooth 5.0 and USB type-C charging instead.
Nevertheless, the OPPO Enco Free2is are now slated to support multi-device pairing, a property also recently touted by other OEMs such as Samsung to intelligently switch pairing and playback between 2 devices.
The feature should thus allow a user to switch their attention from music on a phone to a movie on a tablet or PC without messing around with on-screen buttons so long as compatible earbuds are worn at the time.
Nothing is known about the price of the Enco Free2is as yet (presuming they do truly launch tomorrow, that is). However, it is most likely that they would launch at or around the price for their apparent predecessors, which started at 599 yuan (~US$93).
