Leaker details the differences between the Oppo Reno7 and Reno7 Pro in extensive leak
Evan Blass has published a specification sheet comparing the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro. While JD.com listings report the devices' SoCs, memory configurations and battery capacities, Blass' specification sheet clarifies differences and similarities between the pair.
Specifically, both will rely on AMOLED and 1080p displays that offer 90 Hz refresh rates. The Reno7 and Reno7 Pro feature the Sony IMX709 too, a 32 MP sensor used as their front-facing sensors. Supposedly, they will both support 65 W fast charging, despite Oppo's marketing assets suggesting otherwise.
Moreover, Oppo will launch the pair running Android 12, or the ColorOS 12 version of it at any rate. Blass states that the Reno7 series will arrive with Android 11 instead, but Oppo bases ColorOS 12 on Android 12. ColorOS 12 remains in beta for existing smartphones, such as the Find X3 Pro.
The Reno7 Pro will have a brighter and larger display than the Reno7 though, and one that has superior touch sampling. Oppo has equipped the Reno7 and Reno7 Pro with different rear-facing cameras, although both have primary, ultra-wide and macro cameras. Pricing remains unknown at this stage, but Oppo has confirmed that the Reno7 series will debut on November 25.
