OPPO is slated to produce successors to its Reno6 series of mid-tier smartphones soon. Now, some leaks may put the debut of these 7-series devices beyond a doubt. The new tips also seem to validate others pointing to a new (and possibly overdue) direction in the phones' design.
The Reno 7 - or Reno7, rather, as its latest leaks have it - line is thought to consist of a vanilla and Pro variant, as well as an SE for the first time. The first 2 of these have now appeared in new and allegedly official posters, one of which has apparently been installed in an off-line Chinese location in advance, possibly by mistake.
This is because the second new poster specifies a launch date of November 25, 2021. Both new images also show an updated chassis, meaning both the vanilla 7 and 7 Pro (at least) will be unveiled with flat screens and edges, much like those of the Reno6.
However, both are now depicted as having drastically different, rectangular camera humps, with the Pro as the one with the elaborate two-toned module allegedly spotted earlier. Accordingly, it seems OPPO may have something original to offer its fans in about 4 days from now.
