Oppo is now backed to augment its current line of flagship Android smartphones with the Find X8s and X8s+, both of which might pack impressively large batteries for their respective sizes.
They could both be outdone by the top-end X8 Ultra at 6,100mAh, according to a new leak. The series' only Snapdragon 8 Elite-toting handset is also said to be its thickest with an 8.78 millimeter (mm) frame, according to the famous leaker Digital Chat Station.
Should that be the case, it would make the X8 Ultra much thicker than its Samsung rival the Galaxy S25 Ultra (now available for $1,175 on Amazon). It would also, however, be an improvement on the 9.5mm Find X7 Ultra.
Its successor is also thought to be heavier than its 2024 counterpart at 226 grams (g) rather than 221g. The flagship's supposedly Find X8s series-beating 100W charging spec might help account for that slight bit of extra weight.
The Find X8 Ultra is also projected to have an all-glass rear panel finished in uniform black, pink or white shades as opposed to the two-toned vegan leather of its forebear.
Digital Chat Station has also furnished us with some new photos purporting to show the X8 Ultra's white colorway in real life, showcasing its allegedly flat display and Hasselblad camera hump (the latter of which now apparently looks cleaner compared to some earlier renders).
