Anker has launched the Nano Desktop Charger Mix in China. It is very similar to the brand’s Charging Station (7-in-1, 100W, retractable USB-C cable) spotted at the Anker Japan online store earlier this year; both products appear to share model number A91C8.
The Anker Nano Desktop Charger Mix offers six rather than seven outputs. Like the Japanese version, there are two retractable USB-C cables, one on each side, each measuring up to 70 cm (~27.6 inches) long and tested for over 18,000 pulls. On one side are USB-C and USB-A ports. At the rear are two five-hole AC outputs for up to 2,500W; the Japanese version of the accessory has three AC outputs.
Anker claims that the Nano Desktop Charger Mix is the first Huawei-authorized desktop charger supporting SCP 66W charging. Other supported fast charging protocols include PD, PPS, and QC. Via USB-C, there is an up to 100W input, which would allow you to charge a MacBook Pro to 50% in 30 minutes. Anker PowerIQ 3.0 technology is said to provide intelligent power distribution and there are six safety protection features, including 300J surge protection and temperature control. On the integrated 1.3-inch LCD screen, users can view the charging status or details about the temperature controls.
The Anker Nano Desktop Charger Mix measures 121 x 72.5 x 53 mm (~4.8 x 2.9 x 2.1 inches). It is available to pre-order in China at JD.com for CNY 549 (~$64) and comes in black or silver. The product has yet to be released in Japan, where it is priced at ¥9,990 (~$69). It is unclear whether or when this accessory could be launched in countries like the US, joining older models like the Anker Prime Charger (200W, 6 Ports, GaN) (curr. $69.99 at Amazon).
