Sharge has launched two new accessories in China, 100W and 140W versions of the Dot Matrix Screen Charger. As indicated by the name, the product has a dot matrix display on one side, showing charging information. Each variant offers a range of USB ports with support for the PD charging protocol and folding pins.

The Sharge Dot Matrix Screen Charger has been launched in China. Available in 100W and 140W variants, this portable accessory has an unusual dot matrix display on one side, displaying charging information.

Sharge’s Dot Matrix Screen Charger 100W has four ports, three up to 100W USB-C outputs and an 18W USB-C output. There is support for PD 3.0 fast charging, and power is said to be distributed dynamically based on the connected devices. For example, when all ports are used simultaneously, the first two USB-Cs could offer 45W and 35W, respectively, with the final two ports sharing 15W.

Meanwhile, the Sharge Dot Matrix Screen Charger 140W offers three USB-C outputs. Each offers up to 140W power with support for PD 3.1. Again, there is dynamic power distribution, which could look like 67W:30W:30W or 45W:45W:30W. Other supported charging protocols include PPS, QC and SCP.

At the top of each charger is an orange button that triggers information about the charging interface and the power to be displayed. A second gray button can be used to rotate the display. These are compact GaN chargers with folding pins. The 100W version measures 54 x 60 x 37.2 mm (~2.1 x 2.4 x 1.5 inches), while the 140W variant measures 58 x 64 x 37.2 mm (~2.3 x 2.5 x 1.5 inches).

In China, the 100W and 140W versions of the Sharge Dot Matrix Screen Charger are priced at CNY 169 (~$23) and CNY 199 (~$28), respectively. The company has yet to confirm whether or when these products could reach other markets like the US, where it already sells accessories like the 140W GaN Charger (curr. $69.90 at Amazon).
