The Anker Nano Wireless Car Charger (Magnetic, Detachable Pad) has arrived in China and appears to be on the way to other countries. An accessory with a similar design, the Nano Universal Magnetic Car Mount, was released in China earlier this year; however, this variant did not offer wireless charging.
The new Nano Wireless Car Charger has model number A2216. At one end is a Qi2-certified wireless charging pad with a 15W output. This sits on a detachable rotating head, allowing you to freely adjust the angle or tilt it up to 45°. Plus, your phone is held in place with a 14N magnetic force. There is a long, flexible body which allows you to further adjust the viewing angle as well as the height. It is fixed in place on the dashboard or windscreen with 3M VHB adhesive and is powered via a 22.5W input.
The Anker Nano Wireless Car Charger’s design allows for more flexible positioning than the Anker MagGo Wireless Car Charger (Pad, Built-in USB-C Cable) (curr. $59.99 at Amazon). For example, it could be placed over your car's infotainment display or air vents. The company describes it as “stable as a rock”, and it measures 207.2 x 60 x 46 mm (~8.2 x 2.4 1.8 inches).
Anker is selling the Nano Wireless Car Charger (Magnetic, Detachable Pad) in China for CNY 179 (~$25). FCC filings indicate that the accessory will also be released in the US, though an exact release date and its price have yet to be revealed.
